Black Mamba Strain Review | Saints

Black Mamba by Saints is a potent Indica-influenced cultivar that is sure to put the partaker in a relaxed, happy, and calm state. It even says so on the jar! Outside of fancy marketing, and perhaps one of the coolest label designs I have seen, what makes this strain so special?

The name Black Mamba often brings fear to mind, whether you are trekking through Africa, living in a Kill Bill movie, or facing the LA Lakers of the early 2000s (R.I.P. Kobe). But this Black Mamba is not your opponent or enemy. It is a comforting friend that can help you relax, snuggle down onto the couch, and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. The more you ingest, the quicker you will drift off, much like the venom of the aforementioned snake. But unlike a real Black Mamba’s bite, you will wake up the next morning feeling rested and refreshed.

Lighting It Up

Before writing this review, I had never tried Black Mamba before and was looking forward to experiencing its sedating effects. The strain boasts multiple shades of green and purple that can appear almost black from certain angles.

Black Mamba’s unique smell and aroma set it apart from other strains. Its sweet-sour grape scent is mixed with a rich woody pine aroma while grinding the bud releases the scents of skunk and herbs. The flavor is similar but with a sweeter taste.

Smoking or vaping Black Mamba provides a smooth and enjoyable experience during both inhalation and exhalation. This makes it an excellent choice for those who are sensitive to harsh smoke and want a gentler, satisfying smoking experience. Overall, Black Mamba is a smooth smoking treat that impresses even the most discerning cannabis connoisseurs.

The strain’s effects lean towards Indica and vary depending on the amount ingested. After taking the first puff, users will experience a cerebral and euphoric high, but these intense effects subside to a feeling of lightness accompanied by heightened senses. Users have reported feeling relaxed, euphoric, giggly, hungry, tingly, and focused.

Due to its potency, it is not often recommended for beginners as high doses can cause extreme relaxation, passing out, and/or couch lock. Additionally, dry mouth and dry eyes may occur, which are common side effects of many strains that can be remedied by staying hydrated.

Potential medical benefits of Black Mamba include helping with Anxiety, Arthritis, Bipolar Disorder, Chronic Pain, Depression, Headaches, Insomnia, Loss of Appetite, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscle Spasms, and Migraines.
