Mandarin Zkittles Strain Review | Umbrella Cannabis

Mandarin Zkittles is a 50/50 Hybrid by the producer Umbrella Cannabis. A cross of Mandarin Sunset and California Black Rose, this cultivar provides earthy and tropical scents with a slight citrus sweetness and a peppery, earthy flavor. I have been eyeballing this strain for awhile since it came into the White Rabbit and have been curious to give it a try.

Umbrella is a Tier 3 producer and processor located in Sedro Woolley, whose cannabis you can find in such brands as 2727 and Alis. Current pricing puts it at the budget counter, making easy, affordable access to great weed!

No more rating system as Cannabis is a very personal experience, and what is brick weed to one may be another’s fire, and vice versa…my job is to merely inform.

Appeal: Light green buds, forest green sugar leaves, amber pistol clusters, frosty trichome coverage. – I really like the look of this bud, the lighter green with some darker sugar leaves here and there really helps accentuate the trichome frosting all over the bud. The light amber hairs make it more enticing.

Aroma: Piney, Spicy, Subtle Sweet Citrus. Pine aroma hits first when opening the bag, followed by the spice, citrus, and some light earthy notes.

Flavor: Citrus, Pepper, Earth. – Earthiness and pepper makes itself known on the inhale, citrus notes on the exhale. Nice easy smoke.

Effects: Mild Euphoria, Overall Body High, All Afternoon Cheshire Grin – The effects are quite nice as it relaxes but does not sedate allowing you to take part in social activities all while feeling happy, and content. Great strain for newbies and seasoned smokers alike as it is not an overpower effect by any means, but still good enough to appease the most discerning partaker.

The Final Puff

Mandarin Zkittles is one of those strains that you puff on early in the afternoon, maybe before a show or just hanging out with friends. It is a mild euphoric high that will not incapacitate you. Known to have a higher CBD content than a lot of strains, Mandarin Zkittles can potentially be helpful with depression, arthritis, hypertension, muscle spasms, insomnia, and chronic pain. This is a great strain for both medical and recreational purposes!

I had been looking forward to trying this cultivar, and it certainly did not disappoint. If you are looking for high numbers and an wild psychedelic experience, this one is not for you. This is you sitting on a lawn chair on a Saturday afternoon, just chilling, with nothing to do but relax.
