White Cadillac Strain Review | Especial

White Cadillac Strain Review | Especial

White Cadillac by Especial is another cultivar that sits under the Canna Verde line of products, but one that sits in a category of its own. What makes White Cadillac so special? Well, there is little to no information about the strain specifically, indicating that this is possibly an in-house phenotype. This creation is a cross between White Urkle, Lowryder, and Afgoo, which provides an interesting aroma, flavor, and even more interesting effects. Let’s dig into some details.

White Cadillac Lineage

There is more to the full lineage of this cultivar, as with any strain, and there may be differences depending on the grower. I provide a high-level overview with some details to allow the reader to get an idea of where a strain derives from, as well as what other cultivars to try should they be curious or not find the specific strain being reviewed.

Review Scores

I review on a 10-point system. Simply because I do not think five is enough to show distinctions between different reviewed products, but it is running with a 10-point system that allows certain aspects of the reviewed product to shine when other areas do not and can potentially effect the overall score. It is also for this reason that I do not go with more than a 10-point system because I think it can become overly complicated. We are all partakers; complexity is never a good thing.

Appearance: 7 – Dense, light green, with light orange/brown hairs intertwined. Light to minimal trichome growth on the exterior bud. Light resinous feel once ground up, ground bud sticks together nicely. A little dry for my liking, but that could just be shelf time and less about the product itself.
Aroma: 8 – Sweet, fruity, hint of gas.
Flavor: 8 – Sweet, fruity, and slightly metallic. Not off putting at all, just the best way to describe. Slight grape hints in exhale.
Effect: 9 – This one is a peaky in it’s effects. One minute my mind was racing, getting ready to do all the things, almost overwhelming, and the next I was totally chill and able to focus on one thing at a time. Likely great for social situations where you do not have to focus on any one conversation or task at a time, you can just bounce around the room chatting it up.

Overall: 8 out of 10

Final Puff

This was an interesting hybrid for me, as up to this point most, if not all, of the hybrids I have tried have been fairly balanced. Even some sativa strains came across as more balanced. White Cadillac is a last minute plans came up, you had no intentions of going anywhere for the night, but now it is time to rally and you want to put your best social foot forward kind of cultivar. Like I said, for me, it had some peaky moments, but I was also sitting in my smoking den contemplating flavor, aroma, and effects. I was not exactly going out and doing anything, which is what I would suggest this strain is for. I will be revisiting this one when I get a chance in the right setting.
