Pink Chee Chee Strain Review | Green Bluff Greenhouse

Pink Chee Chee, or Cheddar as it has been called in the past, by Green Bluff Greenhouse, is a slightly energizing and uplifting strain (cultivar) that settles down into its more relaxing indica side as time passes. Not much information is available about this rare strain, which makes this a fun one as I am walking into this not knowing what to expect! Green Bluff is an i502 producer in Washington State, known for heir heirloom strains, no pesticides, and great care of their plants from seedling to end product. Anyone who has ever partaken of Green Bluff products have nothing but rave reviews. From older smokers to younger smokers, their flower brings an experience not found by other producers. While I do not have much information regarding this strain, I do have the terpene profile which will set the stage for this review, but first, what goes into making Pink Chee Chee, besides a really fun sounding name?

Review

Pink Chee Chee is quite the interesting cultivar, first because its a fairly rare one, possibly even an in house phenotype that you cannot find anywhere else.

Appearance: 8 – Hand trimmed, nicely shaped full buds on this beauty. While not super glistening with trichomes, they are there, and you can see them.

Aroma: 8 – With the name Pink Chee Chee and its lineage, I expected a heavy cheese aroma on this one, but surprisingly enough while it was there, it was not overpowering like some cultivars. The obvious hints of pine, citrus, spice, and mango are all present. Quite honesty I could stick my head in a bag of this and just inhale the aroma. The aromatherapy qualities of this bud is super nice as I can feel a calming sensation just breathing it in.

Flavor: 9 – I do not even know how to describe the flavor with this one. A little sweet, a little spice, a little cheese, this one has got a bit of everything in its flavor, in a good way. Your palate will be dancing with joy once the terpenes hit your tongue.

Effects: 10 – This again is where this one really delivers. It starts out with the uplifting sativa effects that are part of its lineage, but then quickly settles down to the indica side where you begin to feel the couch lock, and the psychedelic effects kick in. Before too long you are wanting to ride this awesome wave to bed and crash out with some great dreamland foundation.

Final Score out of 10: 8.75 – Must Have

The Final Puff

It is a rare moment when I walk into a review blindly. Keep in mind before I do any of my reviews, I research real high level information such as terpenes, cannabinoids, and keep it extremely limited before ever taking my first puff. Then I do my first run with the product, take notes, initial thoughts, etc… Then I will select a few trust worthy sites I go to to read reviews, only to compare notes, see if there was something I was missing, then I will do my follow up runs with the strain to shore up my thoughts and effects. Sometimes this spans multiple days to try and give you the readers a general overall idea of what to expect from the strain. I always lean on my experiences first and back that up with research.

Pink Chee Chee I knew absolutely nothing about except for the lab results from the shipment to our dispensary. What a great find this was! From the enticing aroma and flavor, to the awesome effects. I feel anyone who has not given Pink Chee Chee a try owes it to themselves to do so. Ignore the 20% THC, which I know a subset of users consider that to be low. The terpenes drive this cultivar, and they are darn good at it! You will think you are at the mid 20’s or higher with the way this one settles into your bones. Come down to the White Rabbit, and grab some Pink Chee Chee while it is available. I am confident you will enjoy it as much as I did, and will continue to do.
