March Reefer Madness Battle of the Strains Playoff

#1 seeded Western Cultured Seatown Lemon Haze won its match-up easily
against #11 Equinox Super Silver Haze to reach its favored status in the
finals of the March Reefer Madness flower strain competition at the
White Rabbit.

But the finals round on Monday, March 7 promises to be competitive as
Viking Cannabis has had an impressive run of its own. Vikings #9 seed
Old School Lemons has donned the glass slippers by beating out Vikings
#4 seed Oil Tanker to reach the finals.

Who will win? It’s up to White Rabbit customers. Whichever strain sells
the most on Monday will be declared this year’s champion. Each flower
strain is 10% off on Monday to encourage competition.

The play off brackets set the competition, fierce as ever! Will we see an old school heritage strain make the finals? Is there a new and up and coming strain that makes the mark? March Reefer Madness Continues!

Some strains expected to reach the Sweet Sixteen did so but there were several upsets. Two number one seeds remain: Western Cultured Seatown Lemon Haze and Washington Bud Company’s Afghani Hash Plant. But Viking Cannabis Old School Lemons knocked Saints Black Mamba out in the second round. And Serenity Gardens Fucking Incredible wasn’t in the second round as Honey Creek Reserve’s Blueberry Cheesecake advanced.

Four brackets have two-way or three-way ties as a result of no sales of those strains. So some lower seeded strains, while still top shelf quality, are poised to create more upsets if customers who are fans of them want to help with their purchases on Thursday and Friday.

Equinox Super Silver Haze upset Falcanna Diesel Thai on a technicality. Both sold a quarter but Equinox puts two extra grams in their quarter so Super Silver Haze advanced with 9 grams sold versus seven grams.

Peace and Love has two strains in the Sweet Sixteen: Ice Cream Cake and Chimera #2. Viking’s Oil Tanker takes on Afghani Hash Plant in the Sweet Sixteen.

Old School Cool’s Sour Diesel is one of several Cinderella strains after beating heavily favored Lumpy Space Princess from Western Cultured.

Down to the FINAL FOUR!

Only a single #1 seed made it to the Final Four — Western Cultured
Seatown Lemon Haze. The four strains will square off on Saturday, April
5 with the most sales of each on that day determining who will advance
to the title round.

Meanwhile, Viking Cannabis tells us “it takes a pillage” as they sent
TWO strains to the Final Four: Oil Tanker and Old School Lemons. As it
turns out, they face each other so one and only one Viking strain is
guaranteed a spot in the championship round on April 7.

And Equinox Gardens Super Silver Surfer (aka Haze), took advantage of
low inventory with Falcanna Diesel Thai and its own generous packaging
of an extra gram in its eighths to become the Cinderella strain in the
tournament in making the Final Four.

All four strains will be discounted at 10% off on Saturday, April 5.
