Canna Edible Review | Marmas

Marmas At White Rabbit Cannabis

Taken orally, Marmas can be chewed and the texture is similar to a “Starburst” candy.  The lack of “weed” taste means Marmas make for a delicious candy.

Form: Chewy soft candy

Strain: Not strain specific, Magic Kitchen infuses Marmas with Pure THC extract

Magic Kitchen, Northwest Cannabis Solutions

Dosage to reach desired effect: One ten milligram dose worked well enough. If I was going for a more pronounced effect I would recommend two or three but spaced out along half hour intervals just to make sure not to go too far too fast.  The creep of the buzz came within fifteen minutes probably because I let it linger before swallowing it down. I kept thinking “This tastes way better than I expected.” That soon morphed into “This feels way better than I expected…”

Marmas Lemon Chews

Package Description: Easy to read packaging which nicely displays the product visually since there is no window on the packaging to check the freshness. The packaging provides two layers of protection, one with the sealed foil, then an additional plastic wrap around the candy inside.

The flavor of the lemon Marmas candy actually tastes like real Meyers lemons, slightly sweet, definitely tart, but not too sweet or too tart.

A matter of taste…

Be careful as a result since popping down too many might be tempting.  Infact, Marmas taste unexpectedly good! With just a hint of bitter on the back end of the palate, Marmas even feel like consuming a real lemon. If you do not like the weed flavor then this covers it really well with “tasteless” pure THC extractions.

I enjoy the flavor and the effect comes relatively fast since it is basically chewy sugar and digests quickly. Since the taste hides the canna flavor well, and it is tasty, I would say be careful of eating too many since the urge will be there to take a few more.

Are Marmas vegan friendly?

Marmas are Gluten Free and Vegan friendly. While you do see these offered in just about every cannabis rec shop, White Rabbit has one of the best selections on the Green Mile. The extraction method is BHO. Personally, I would prefer if they took a different path for the extractions, like C02 or even solventless, but obviously BHO offers some advantages in terms of yield.

Thinking Out Loud…

This is a good product and it gets the job done and I would recommend it to anyone that doesn’t wish to smoke or vape cannabis. The flavor is refreshing and the packaging maintained excellent freshness. I like that it didn’t “taste like weed”. It does contain corn syrup so some folks may have dietary issues with that. Additionally, it is produced with a BHO extraction of the activated THC. I am curious about the process they use to ensure solvent free extractions and deliver consistent quality in terms of the source material.
